Detailed Itinerary.

After breakfast in your hotel, you’ll be met with your driver guide then drive to Tarangire Park for afternoon game viewing in the national park famous for its giant baobab trees, large herds of elephants, plains game and predators. Tarangire also boasts a large variety of spectacular bird life including endemic species, dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park.

After breakfast you’ll embark on a sun rise game drive ranging far and wide. Among many aspects of animal behavior, your Guide will point out the fascinating way elephants have of communicating with subtle interactions. After lunch drive to Karatu at Octagon lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater tour

After early morning breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area at the main entrance gate. After completing the payment formalities, descend into the crater floor (2000 feet). Drive through the lerai forest with its yellow-barked acacias, searching for giant-tusked elephant, rare black rhino and black-manned lion. Late afternoon ascend the crater wall to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Octagon lodge.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National park

After morning breakfast enter to the Lake Manyara National park passing through the cool shade of the groundwater forest before reaching the lakeshore. The Park is best known for its tree climbing lions, but you are more likely to an encounter elephants, buffalo, primates and astounding bird life. Leave the park after lunch and drive back to Arusha.
