What We Provide

Our price includes all your food, accommodation, insurance and back-up. We have set prices from two, three or four weeks up to twelve weeks. If you want to go for more than twelve weeks, you can add as many extra weeks as you like (within visa restrictions), Here is a bit more information about what we provide:

Project

The full organization of your project; including a supervisor at your placement and worthwhile work to do.

Accommodation

Most volunteers live with local host-families, who are carefully selected because they are friendly, welcoming and will go out of their way to look after our volunteers. In some destinations, including Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda, volunteers live together in shared volunteer apartments or houses. Conservation volunteers also usually live together in a range of accommodation, from beach-side dormitory rooms in Mexico to wooden bungalows in the Peruvian rainforest.

Food

Whatever kind of accommodation you’re living in, we will ensure you are provided with three meals a day; you can’t work on an empty stomach! For lunch you may have a meal at your placement, get given a packed lunch or return to your host family or shared accommodation to eat. In some countries you may be given a food allowance.

Back-up

We have over 200 trained staff worldwide. In every country we have an office run by an experienced Country Director, trained in the Denmark or in Tanzania. Staff can be contacted 24 hours a day. They are responsible for your general well-being and liaise with your placement, accommodation and our Denmark or Tanzania staff.
