Detailed Itinerary.

From Arusha drive to the Lake Duluti forest about 30 minutes away from the city for a day walking and canoe/boat ride. You will be taken around the lake with a guide and get explanation on how the lake was formed. With an optional boat ride at the lake and picnic lunch at the area, later drive to Vijiji Centre house for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast transfer by car to Sing’isi village with your picnic lunch boxes, start a walk passing through a coffee and banana plantation. You will guided by a local guide from the village and get to know the history of Meru people living around the area. You will also visit to a local coffee factory and see how coffee is produced locally and test it. Later evening return to Vijiji Centre house for dinner and overnight.

After morning breakfast drive to Arusha National park for a game drive with an option of walking at the foothill of Mount Meru with an armed ranger guide. Proceed with game drive along the Momella Lake for flamingo watching. Here you can encounter Buffalos, Zebras, Giraffes, Waterbuck, Warthogs, Black and White Colobus monkeys and other bird species. Late afternoon leave the park and drive back to Vijiji Centre house for dinner and overnight.!

After breakfast, transfer to Elkurot Maasai village, upon arriving; a group of pleasant Maasai and the Village-Chief welcomes you with a chilled welcome drink. During a walk through the village, your personal Maasai guide is explaining the life, past- and today’s life of the Tanzania Maasai. Get more information about the culinary culture of the Maasai while tasting a traditional tea (chai) prepared on the wood fire.A tasty lunch with a variety of local food highlights will end the activities inside the village, return to Arusha in evening.
